We have a building contract

Back in September we decided on the house we wanted. We then started down the process of tenders etc. After two months wait we have our offical HIA contract with plans. I'm quite excited and I feel like we are moving forward.

The contract is now with our solicitors for review and the bank is doing their valuation before final loan approval :).

We are hoping to sign by the end of the week, then we will be able to move onto the process of colours - YAY!!!

The beginning

Welcome to my new blog. This is my first blog and my first attempt at the home building process so there may be some hiccups along the way (for both processes). Hopefully not too many though.

I am building my new home with my husband and am quite excited about the thought of having a new home.

We have purchased our land and have chosen our house design. We have decided to go with a project home company, the design is called Atrium 285.

My goals:
1) To be in before next Christmas
2) To come in under budget

We will see how this goes.
